As part of Detroit HBCU Weekend 2026, we’re proud to present the 3rd Annual Detroit HBCU Honors on Saturday, July 25th. This prestigious event celebrates the outstanding achievements of HBCU alumni in the Metro Detroit area who exemplify unwavering commitment to their alma mater, local alumni chapter, and the broader community.
Last year, alumni from Florida A&M, Howard and Morehouse proudly took home top honors on behalf of their chapters. Now, it’s your turn to help determine who will rise to the occasion in 2026.
Nomination Guidelines:
We invite you to nominate financially active members of your alumni chapter for the following categories. You may submit more than one nominee per category—except for Chapter of the Year, which allows only one nomination per chapter.
