Calling all HBCU-bound students!
Join the Detroit HBCU Network on Saturday, May 30th, for a scholarship selection process like no other. No essay, no ACT or SAT requirements. What we want is you. What makes your story as a student different? What is your plan for collegiate success? How will you show up as a professional? This is what we want to learn about you.
You will network in a room filled with HBCU alumni and will be scored based on timeliness, professional attire, the ability to explain your college of choice, and your overall body of work as a student. You will be scored in several categories. The students with the highest scores will receive scholarships ranging from $500 - $1500.
The application process is simple. Follow directions. Use the link below to complete the questionnaire. The deadline to complete the application is Saturday, May 16th, by Midnight (EST).

- This scholarship is open to Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.
- You must provide proof of enrollment for the 2026 Fall semester.
- This is a professional networking event, so dress accordingly.
- Must be a resident of the state of Michigan.
